Congress of Lushnje
Congress of Lushnje, locally called 'kongresi' in a museum located in downtown Lushnje, across from the park.

It is famous because it was the house where a historical moment occurred. In 1920 there was a conference of Albanian leaders. At that time, Lushnje was occupied by Italian invaders. At this conference, Albanian leaders declared the Italian government invalid. They elected an Albanian president, and decided that the capital city of Albania would be Tirana, not Durres, which the Italians had made the capital.
